Welcome
The Department of Radiology of Fletcher Allen and the University of Vermont has a faculty of 39 board-certified radiologists, five physicists, and five radiation oncologists. Our department is completely subspecialized.
We are most fortunate to have collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships with multiple companies which allow us to have access to leading edge equipment in all areas of diagnostic imaging. We have a research scientist and a 3-Tesla research magnet.
Our faculty and residents have a warm and collaborative relationship which helps to explain why we have such an excellent reputation for
teaching and why we are so clinically productive at the same time.
Our department interprets over 300,000 examinations per year. The Radiology Residency Program is fully accredited by the ACGME and offers six positions annually. We also offer fellowships in Angiography, Interventional Radiology, Cross-Sectional Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, Cardiothoracic Imaging, and Women’s Imaging.
