PGY2 Program Description
Clinical Practice
The specialized residency in critical care is a 12-month program focusing on expanding pharmacotherapy knowledge and application to the critically ill patient.

Educational Opportunities
The residency is built upon the fact that the Program Director and preceptors believe strongly in dedicating a substantial amount of time with the resident to discuss both patient and pharmacotherapy based topics.
Teaching & Preceptorship
Multiple opportunities exist for the specialty resident to be actively involved in education of pharmacy students, pharmacy practice residents, nursing and physicians involved in training programs.
Research & Resident Publications
A clinical research project focusing on critical care will be required and will serve as the major residency project with a goal of publication in a peer-reviewed journal at the completion of the residency program.
Professional Growth
In addition to clinical practice, educational opportunities, and research endeavors, the Program Director and the Assistant Program Director will mentor the specialty resident regarding professional growth.
